JEE Main 2027 Registration Open: Last Date 22 Nov, Fee & How to Apply

JEE Main 2027 registration is open. NTA published its official notice on 24 October 2026, and the Session 1 form closes on 22 November 2026 (11:50 pm). Here are the dates, the fee for your category, the exact steps — and one correction: the January exam days are 20–24 and 28 January, not the 22–30 January shown in the September calendar.

⚠️ Dates changed. The NTA Examination Calendar (16 September) showed Session 1 on 22–30 January. The NTA’s public notice and Information Bulletin dated 24 October now say 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 January 2027. Always follow the notice, not an older calendar.

Who can apply

  • No age limit. Colleges may set their own age rules.
  • Class 12 passed in 2025 or 2026, or appearing in 2027 is eligible.
  • Passed Class 12 in 2024 or earlier: not eligible for JEE Main 2027.
  • The “passing year” is the year you first passed Class 12; an improvement attempt does not reset it.

Your next 12 weeks

  • This week: register, upload documents and pay. Don’t wait for 22 Nov; portals slow down near deadlines.
  • Weeks 2–6: finish the syllabus; the NTA has published the 2027 syllabus on its site.
  • Weeks 7–11: full-length timed tests, with careful review of every wrong answer. Negative marking makes guessing expensive.
  • Last week: download the admit card (13 Jan), check your centre, revise formulas, sleep.
