Who can appear

Exam structure (general)
GATE is a 3-hour computer-based test combining General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics, and your core subject. Questions are multiple-choice (MCQ), multiple-select (MSQ), and numerical answer type (NAT). Always check the official GATE website for the current year’s pattern, marking scheme and subject list.
A simple preparation strategy
- Know the syllabus cold. Download the official syllabus and map every topic.
